How to set a preset value for a hidden field in a request form

I cant work this out, have looked over numerous other posts.

I have a request form and I would like the default assignee to be 'Unassigned'.
In project settings, request types, edit fields, request form, and under 'hidden fields with preset values' I am attempting to edit the value of the 'Assignee' field. However when I try to change this to 'Unassigned' I get the error "You must enter a preset value for a hidden field.".

How can I set a preset value for the 'Assignee' hidden field?

Allow unassigned issues is turned on in system settings.

Hi @John G,

If you want the assignee to be unassigned by default, just remove the assignee field from the customer portal's request form.
