This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Releasing a Version (Kanban)

How do you remove issues from the done column if the issue has nothing to do with a specific version? Documentation tasks, initial setup tasks, etc.

The easy answer is "put them in a version"

But I'd prefer to do it by adjusting the filter for "done"

Yea putting them in a version is what i've been doing but it's tedious and time consuming in the workflow i'm trying to set up. Apparently I'm not the only one with this problem as I found another thread on the topic here  https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/223797

I've been having trouble getting the JQL to work the way I want it to. I probably just need to spend some more time messing around with it. Thanks for your answer @Nic Brough [Adaptavist] !
