We want to provide viewer access for all the users in jira for specific projects.Any idea how to change permission scheme?

  • Create a new permission scheme where the Browse Project permission is based on Project Role
  • Add the new permission scheme to the projects you want users to have the ability to view

Make sure you don't grant them in the new permission scheme create, update, or delete issues. All other features in the permission scheme should be left blank
