How to plan bugs and improvements for a scrumboard using story points and stories?

If you have a bugs like "this doesn't work" and "that doesn't work". How would you plan them with a rapid board (scrum) using story points estimation? (and timetracking burndown).

Would you create a Story like "Bug fixes for sprint xxx" and assign this a "left-over amount of story points" and just put in bugs that you think that you can solve?

Or would you just add an x-amount of bugs to the sprint planning.

We have "Bug" as an issue type, and they get added to the sprint as if they were individual stories. That's my $.02
