I could move the subtasks from one project to another project, but comments are not getting copied over. What should I do?

Hello @Shweta Kalra

If you're seeking for an easy way to clone a subtask from one project to another along with comments, you can try our app Elements Copy & Sync that allows you to clone and sync a full hierarchy of issues with all their content (summary, description, custom fields, comments, attachments, etc).

You can check our guide here.

The app is for free during 30 days (and it stays free under 10 users).

Hi @Shweta Kalra and welcome to the community!

To move subtasks between projects in Jira while ensuring that comments are also transferred, you might find the default options limiting. One effective solution is to use our app Deep Clone for Jira. Deep Clone allows you to clone issues, including subtasks, along with all their comments, attachments, and other data across projects.
