How to get the number of open tickets ?

Pierre G March 2, 2022

Hi,

I search to know how to get the number of open tickets during the year by period of 1 month. Can you help me please ?

I precise that i don't want the number of ticket create during each month but the number of ticket with "not close" state during each.

Ex :

A ticket create in January and close in march will be counted in January, February anr March.

Thanks!

Hi all,
Thanks for your response. I find/undertand the solution.

The widget Created vs Resolved is effectively what i want...

  • Select "Display the trend of Unresolved"Capture d’écran 2022-03-02 140138.png
  • Be sure that the "Days previously" is bigger than your project. That was why the result wasn't good for me...
  • I have 22 tickets open in March 2022 :

Thanks all.

@Pierre G ,

Welcome to the Community

If you using resolution field then you can use following JQL to get open issues

resolution = Unresolved and created = startOfMonth("-1")  - you can change the parameter of startOfmonth based on the month for which you want to search data.

Hi,

Thansk but no, it's not what i want...

This widget get the number of ticket create, and solved, not tue number of ticket wich is not close.

This widget contains an option "Display the Trend of Unresolved" but i don't undestand how it's work. The number of "unresolved ticket" doesn't match with my data...

Hi,

@Fabio Racobaldo _Herzum_ , thanks for suggesting eazyBI!

Additionally, here is a sample report showing issues created, resolved, and open over time: https://eazybi.com/accounts/1000/cubes/Issues/reports/80614-created-vs-resolved-issues-over-time.
