How to find the issues in specified branch using JQL

Hello,

I need to get information to which branches the code was commited

to find the issues in a specified branch using JQL in Jira.

 

Is there any plugin or solution for this?

Hi Tatiana,

All information in JIRA's development panel (Commits/Builds/Branches) is retrieved when accessing the issues and it is not stored in JIRA itself so doing a JQL to retrieve that will not be possible.

You should be able to verify all the issues associated to a single Branch in Stash though by going to the Commits page and filtering by the desired branch. Maybe with some REST call from Stash this may be easier to retrieve.

If you are using Subversion, then the Subverson ALM plugin would provide such information  because it supports a bunch of custom JQL functions to filter issues by using Subversion attributes... like paths (a branch is a path). And it can do it recursively too.
