How to disable email notifications for @mentions in comments field for a particular project

Hi Team,

I want to disable jira notifications for users mentioned as @[deleted] (or @mentions) in comments field for a particular project. Let me know if it is feasible.

Hi Sharieff,

OOTB, the @mentions notification is not configurable.

If it is not configurable in Jira by default, can it be configurable through a custom script using Script runner. Kindly suggest.

Would it be possible for you to share the solution if you have one? I'm looking at disabling the @mentions for a couple of specific projects to limit any personal data being sent outside of Jira.
