How to declare rules for pre-populating custom fields in Jira?

Hi! 

I want to create a due date custom field, that gets auto-populated with a date based on priority.

Eg. P0 - to have due date from 1 day starting current date 

P1 - Due date 3 days form current date, etc.

Is this possible? How could I do that?

Hi @Marina Loredana Culeasca 

You can implement this by using Automation Rule.
You could have branching rule that has different conditions (e.g. PO and P1) and then specify custom field date change with smart values (to calculate 1 or 3 days back from current date.
