Hi,
I'm administrator of a Jira Service Management project but can't find the menu to create custom fields.
The "Crate New Field" option isn't available as shown in the Jira help menu.
Thanks for you support,
Fränz
Hi @Fränz Ney
Is the JSM project Team or Company managed?
You can see this in the left hand menu at the bottom of this menu.
If it's a team managed project, go to the project settings and then to request types, you can create custom fields on a request type.
See in the screen of the request type in the bottom right hand corner.
It's a company managed project.
I still see no menu to create a custom field. See screenshot.

Hi @Fränz Ney
Welcome to the community. Atlassian documentation provide a detailed guide on how to create custom fields which is accessible through the link below:
In order to better understand the issue that you are experiencing at the moment, could you please elaborate your roadblock further. What have you tried and what doesn't work from the provided guide.

Hi @Fränz Ney
To clarify, when you access the cog icon on the top right and click the "Issues" menu as can be seen in the screenshot below, you are not able to see the custom fields menu as can be seen in the screenshot below?
Would it be possible for you to share a screenshot of what you are seeing?
