How to connect multiple products and quantities to a jira issue

We are setting up a workflow related to our RMA process and one of the requirements is to associate the Jira issue with the product SKU(s) and quantities that are part of it.

Ideally, we would have a custom field that allows the user to find the right SKU and add it along with the quantity in the details bar of the issue.  However we also need to support multiple products and therefore a simple dropdown list of products and a separate field for quantity wont solve it. 

Does anyone know of a solution or custom app that would allow this?

This seems you are looking foor a ITAM or CMDB like solution.

Atlassian offers Assets this is integrated within a cPremium subscription.

Otherwise you could focus on 3rd party marketplace apps, see here

And use search terms like ITAM, CMDB or Asset.
