Hello,

We are requested by our PD team to achieve the following:

-> Hide field Product Manager when creating issue type Request

-> Hide field Start Date when creating issue type Request

-> Hide Assignee when creating issue type Request

-> Add field Financial impact when creating issue type Request. Make it mandatory, so that user cannot create a ticket without it.

We've tried various suggestions we've found online and also tried to use ScriptRunner but sadly with no luck.

Could you please advise us/guide us with some particular example/s on how we can achieve these actions described above?

Best Regards,
Alexander Georgiev

Hi Alexander - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

You should be able to create a separate Create screen for the project and leave those fields off.

For the other field that should be mandatory, you can update the Field Configuration for the project to make the field required.

They are removed from just the Create screen though - that's the same as being hidden more or less. They would still be available on the Edit and View screens.

Thank you very much John Funk.

This way the fields are completely removed, not hidden, but I guess this will do the job as well.

Cheers,
