How to automatically create a Sub-Task when you Create a Jira parent ticket (Issue Type: Story)?

When I "Create" a Jira parent ticket (Issue Type: Story), I want four Sub-Tasks to automatically be created within it at the same time, or very soon thereafter.

How can I do this?

Hi @[deleted] 

There are some apps to do that.

• You can use Automation for Jira 's Add sub-tasks on issue creation action
• Issue Templates for Jira app has also create sub-task post function.
• Create on Transition app to create sub-tasks via workflow post function
• Script runner for Jira to create sub-task via a script post function. In this case you can code according to your needs and you have much control.

There might be more options, you can search over market place for alternatives, but you have to install an app to achieve that.
