How to auto assign component in a specific board?

Hi guys!

In my project, I use different components, therefore different boards for each component. The problem is, when I create a new issue (task/story/etc) in my backlog, for some boards the component is not automatically filled in, so when you create issue in backlog (from that + Create issue line) the issue is not visible. (And then I have to go to issue pages, find the issue that I just created, and assign the component from there...)

Currently I create issue from the + button or keyboard shortcut (c), but it is annoying for my team members since the load time is longer (and more inefficient). Any solution for this?

Hi Rosalia,

Unfortunately this is how boards work. A board is not particularly linked to a project or one component within a project. This is all handled through the Board Filter which could result in issues from one or multiple projects to appear. 

The Create Issue screen (through 'C' or via the Create button at the top) is the most flexible solution.
