How to add items to a closed sprint?

Hi,

So my sprint is closed and I see items coming in backlog from closed sprints. Can you tell me how to:

1. Add these items to the closed sprint

2. How to mark them as complete under that sprint

When you close a sprint, unfinished items are put in the backlog for inclusion in the next sprint.

If items are really closed then it is up to the devs to update them correctly during the sprint.

If they are still open then they are eligible for to add to next sprint

Items pop out from a closed sprint is mostly because, some user is editing the sprint value in the issuetype.! (check the activity tab in that issuetype to find the user.!

When an item is added into a sprint, and the sprint is started (with a sprint time), this makes the sprint an active sprint.
The items in that sprint will follow the specific workflow.
make sure there is a Done status and a transition in your workflow (the status should be in Green box when you look in the workflow)
When an Item is in this status (green done), it means its resolved and finished.

Another way to see this is:
check if you are showing the done status in your board.?
use the configure board to see this.
