How do you create monthly filters and YTD filter using Rich Filter?

Paula Smith November 21, 2024

Hello!

I'm currently trying to gather metrics and would like to display monthly metrics for our tickets and the YTD of specific issue types. I tried to create a smart filter for the months but it's only allowing me to do 10 entries. I'm struggling with the YTD as well, my first thought is to use

createdDate < -1y

any thoughts? Thank you!

Hi @Paula Smith ,

Please elaborate a bit on 'only allowing me to do 10 entries'. Where does it come from? Probably provide screenshots to make sure that we are on the same page.

Please also let me know if you use sprints and open to 3rd party applications. Probably I can suggest you all in one solution.

"I'm struggling with the YTD as well" - you need to define the criteria based on which you would like to include your issues in this filter. It also can be a resolutionDate, for example.

Best regards,
Alexey

Hi @Alexey Pavlenko _App Developer_ ,

Thank you for your response! When I was creating a smart filter, it only allowed me to create 10 clauses.

I'm currently using the Rich Filters application.

I'm basing all of it with the createdDate, just trying to determine how many tickets were created YTD.
