How do you access custom issuetypes in Issue Navigator?

Steve Southerland May 11, 2022

Hi,

I am definitely no expert at JQL, but trying to use Issue Navigator to access some custom issuetypes that we created for initiatives and sub-initiatives to align with our hierarchy.  We've tried numerous variations with issuetype and cannot seem to get the data we are looking for.  I guess first question would be, are custom issuetypes accessible from Issue Navigator or is it only the default issuetypes (Epics, Stories, Tasks, etc.)?

Any help you can provide would be much appreciated.

If you need more info to understand this question, please let me know and more than happy to provide as much additional info as I can.

Hi @Steve Southerland !

Welcome to the Community!

Yes, all issuetypes accessible from Issue Navigator.

You can start from basic search - here you can find the official documentation. (the 2-nd filter is on issue types).
