How do I manage a version across projects in jira?

I would like one view to show me all the Epics and Stories that are part of a version where the "release" version involves multiple projects in Jira.
I cannot attach Epics that include issues from other projects.

You can create a quick filter that searches issues in the version using the name of the version. As long as the name is the same across projects, all the issues in the respective versions will be displayed when the quick filter is selected.

Will that work?
