We have realized that a transition is setting the resolution to Fixed (in error).
I believe it is through a post function, but I can't find a way to view/edit what Post Functions are set up for the transition.
I think when I've discovered errors like this in configuration, I've just deleted the transition and started over, but I have concerns doing that now since it has been in use for so long.
Any advice is appreciated.
You have to have admin rights, then you can edit the workflow and see the post-functions on the transitions - clicking on a transition in the diagram editor pops up a box with a selector for conditions, validators, post-functions etc (and you add/change/delete them from there)
I am an admin. I clicked the Transition. Below is what I see. I'm not sure if the edit/delete icons to the right of the list are grayed out because I'm in a Draft copy or because my co-admin has locked this project down (which is fine - she can update it if need be).
Since the instructions for Resolution Set Using a POST Function state to Click 'Add POST Function > Select 'Update Issue Field', I guess I would have thought one of these in the list would have been for a post function of Update Issue Field'. Is this where I'm supposed to edit?

Yes, you'll find those icons are click-able. The permissions are not that fine-grained, if the icons appear, you have edit rights.
However, you don't need to. There is no post-function setting the resolution.
I suspect the screen for the transition has the resolution on it. That will set the resolution as well.

I think you are correct. When I change the status to Promote to QA, a Promote to QA screen pops up and Fixed is the default resolution. Now I need to try to remember where/how to configure/fix that.
