How can I restrict comments in a specific issue type ?

Hi everyone.

I hope everyone doing well.

I am trying to restrict project members from creating comments in the task and sub-task, however, they would be able to make comments on an epic.

Does anyone know how I can do that?

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

The ability to add comments to an issue is a project-wide Permission. It can't be set on a per issue type basis.

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
