How can I play a JIRA issue attachment in .WAV format using Chrome, Safari, FireFox, or IE?

Hey there, Arnold.

This is indeed an interesting thought. Never thought of having some sort of an internal audio played that can cater for this requirement. As of now, I believe that there is no feature in JIRA that supports this. Perhaps it can be considered as a New Feature request. What are your thoughts of this?

Apart from some add-on for those browsers (can't think of anything that integrates with JIRA though), I think this would be a great add on to JIRA.

Thanks for you comments. In fact it works with Safari and FireFox@MAC and Win8 and IE@Win8 without additional setting. But I failed to directly play the WAV file attached in the JIRA Issue on Chrome@MAC and Win8 even though I manually installed in-line Windows Media Player extension and Embed WMPlayer inline 1.2.1 extension.
