How can I disable editing of Resolved issues?

Hello all - I have notice that users have been adding comments and editing issues that are Closed/Completed, hence Resolved. I thought this was disabled by default but now seeking how I can implement this change and I am having a hard time finding the answer... so any help appreciated.

Hi David, I think I found your answer.  Check out this community article: How-to-disable-to-edit-a-Closed-issue-in-Cloud-JIRA/qaq-p/591778

You can add the "do not edit" workflow property which should take care of this.

Hope that helps.

This exactly. you can add a workflow property on the status which will disallow editing.

In addition you can also still allow editing for specific persons/roles only (like process manager)

Thanks Dan, thanks Dirk! Successfully applied and working as expected!
