Hi Team,

Good afternoon,

Within an item it is possible to create Sub-task to execute the task, I would like the Sub-bug to be created to be associated with the original item. Today it is only possible to create the bug outside, we also want the possibility of the Sub-bug in the project.

I know It is not possible, But we have any chance?

If I understand your goal you are saying that you would like a new sub-task Issuetype but you want it called “sub-bug”. To do this got to admin>issues>issue types and create the new Issuetype choosing sub-task as type. Following that you will need to associate the Issuetype to a Issuetype scheme that is associated with the project(s) where you want sub-bug.

No Jack we need it works with in the Bug , Same like task(How sub task works under task)

Hi @Swaroop

what Jack described makes sense to me. You can have several issue types and "subs" (I intentionally wrote "subs" because "Sub-task", "Sub-bug" and so on are names but the common calling is "Sub-task", however).

So it seems you are stuck somewhere - could you probably support with screenshots so Community members can advise better?

Cheers,
Daniel
