Globally configure branch name format for git checkout

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
It is now possible to checkout a new git branch directly from a jira ticket and also to locally configure the pattern in which the branch name will be formatted/written, for instance:
My question is if it's possible to globally configure the branch name format so it will affect all projects' tickets instead of configuring it locally per the user session:
So far, I couldn't find a way to configure it globally for all users/projects, just locally.
