When someone pushes a commit to repo, slack send me a notification about it, but with another user name
The first name it's me, but I didn't make the commit/push.
The second name is the commiter/pusher and reporter of the issue.
This is a screen shot from the reporter so my name being there is a little bit weird.
Is there a way to change this?
You have an option to integrate Jira with Slack to get notifications on Issues that are updated in Jira and the updates are based on the user who is being shown as the commenter.
You can confirm by visiting to the issue in Jira and see who is the commenter
You also have an option to get notifications of GitHub development activities when you integrate it with Slack.
Thanks
Hi @Pramodh M
When looking at the comment that was created in the incident I see another completely different name
This is the admin account which we used to create the API token and integrate Gitlab and Jira

Oh sorry, now I realized that I've created this question in the wrong product xD

It depends on how you have integrated Jira with Gitlab
Please use the plugin here
https://marketplace.atlassian.com/vendors/1217142/gitlab
And check the integration
Thanks
