We're trying to integrate our Jira with GitLab so we can create pull requests directly from the development panel on Jira. The link to create it is showing up but when I click on it I get the following error message:
We can't find any links to create a pull request. You'll need to create a pull request directly in your development tool.
I don't know what links it's referring to. As far as I can tell it is set up properly on the GitLab side, so is this something I need to fix on Jira and how can I do this?
Thanks in advance.
You need to install gitlab in jira(install from atlassian market place) as well and establish connection between jira and gitlab
After installing you need to login to your gitlab
We've done that, but we're still getting the same error when trying to create a pull request. Will it only work on new branches or should it also work for existing branches?

It's working now, thank you. Existing branches could not create a pull request but new branches can.
