I'm getting a "Something went wrong on our end" error everytime I refresh the board page of any product on Jira. The error started happening after i deleted a jira user.

I tried logging out and in but the error is still there. I don't have much info regarding the error.

Hash: Y78HF3

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Hi @Asker Ali ,

Welcome to the community :)

We had an ongoing incident that occurred with customers suing brave or chrome/firefox browser.

please find details here: https://jira-software.status.atlassian.com/incidents/9kvjw6snfqrw

engineering team has investigated this and confirmed that the cookie consent banner is the cause of the issue in the latest Brave browser version. The first report of this problem came in on October 3rd, shortly after Brave's v1.70.123 release on October 2, 2024, which introduced this issue https://brave.com/latest/]).

When attempting to render the banner, the browser is unable to properly display it, preventing users from granting consent for cookies. This directly impacts Jira's functionality, as cookies are essential for various features and normal operations, and you will probably encounter the following error: "Something went wrong on our end". We've tested this across all supported browsers : https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-account/docs/supported-browsers-for-atlassian-cloud-products/], and it works as expected without any issues. Given that Brave is not officially supported for Atlassian cloud products, we recommend using one of our supported browsers as a workaround. While we understand that some users prefer Brave, our engineering team will continue to investigate and address this on a best-effort basis.

However, we do not yet have an ETA for a fix, as it may require changes on our side or collaboration with the Brave team.

A suggestion workaround for *Bravo Browser* users is:

# Disable the Brave shield.

# Access Jira and accept cookies.

# Re-enable the Brave shield.

If you're experiencing this problem in a *different browser,* a helpful step:

Check if is there any ad blocker extension, like Ad Block or Ghostery

# Disable the Extension

# Clear cookies and cache

Thank you,

Prachi

Hi @Prachi Bolar ,

Thank you so much for the help. Disabling brave's ads blocker solved my issue.

Best,

Asker!
