Hi Shashank,

I'm not aware of one that will display time spent per assignee.

"Filter Results" will show the issues/results for a saved filter. When creating the filter you can view the filter in List Mode and add columns to the filter to display the time spent on the issue . Then, when adding the "Filter Results" gadget to your dashboard you can add the time spent column to the gadget. However, the time spent which displays will be cumulative for that ticket and not per assignee.

"Issues in progress" allows you add columns to the gadget, so you can add Time Spent. But again, this will display cumulative time rather than time per assignee.

"Issues assigned to Me" can show time spent, but this only displays the issues assigned to the user, and the time displayed will be cumulative.

Hello @Shashank Gaurav

Apart from the workload pie chart in Jira, you can also try Planyway. It is a simple Jira plugin for better workload planning and time tracking.

Check all the time tracked in a form of simple reports, and filtered logged time either by assignee or by project you need to see. You can also connect multiple projects and build one Jira time tracking report for all of your projects in one place.

The standard Jira field 'Time Spent' accumulates the time of all worklog authors per issue and displaying it by 'Assignee' (who may even turn out to have no worklogs) won't be accurate.

With Performance Objectives: Charts for Jira app you may select metric 'Work Log Time' and then to display it by 'Work Log Author'.  Also it is good to note that your issues filter is best to be based on 'Work Log Date' instead of 'Created' or 'Updated' to catch precisely the time frame.
Alternatively, if there are no worklogs, you may use 'Time in Assignee' metric provided by the app and display it 'by Assignee'.
Please note that I am part of the team that developed the app.

@Tanya _DevAcrobats_ Hi ! I'm trying to use this app to track the time spent on issues within specific boards.
I'm not sure of which gadget/category I should use

Hi, @Armand Carbonnel, I recommend starting with the Performance Objectives dashboard gadget. If you want to track the time spent on issues within a specific board, In the Data source select the filter created for that board, as shown here:

Hi @Shashank Gaurav,

I am Marlene from codefortynine.

A simple solution would be our app Quick Filters for Jira Dashboards. With our statistics gadgets and Pie Chart gadget, you can aggregate any number field (e.g. time-spent).

This is how it would look for example using the Quick Issue Statistic gadget.

You can check out how our app works, without installing it, on our demo dashboards.
