Filter for backlogged tasks in next-gen projects

James Wolensky January 27, 2020

We have 3 columns on our board: To Do | QA | Done. We use the new backlog view for backlogged tasks. The problem is that these tasks are still added to our To Do board, but hidden. How can I use JQL to not select tasks that are on the backlogged view.

Adding labels to our backlog tasks and filtering based on that label is not an option we are looking for.

Hello @James Wolensky ,

Unfortunately, in Next-Gen projects you cannot modify or add a filter to the board. The boards filter is pretty much "Project=ProjectName".
There is a issue with Atlassian to request this feature, but at this time there is no ETA.

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-17444?_ga=2.52750635.2024433361.1580103374-930573636.1574053760

I apologize if this isnt the answer you were looking for, but hopefully this answers your question.
