In the new issue view the field "priority" is not shown for some of our issue types.
For the task issue type the project uses one screen scheme with one screen. The screen is used for creating, editing and viewing issues.
And this screen is configured to have the field "priority".
However I observe the following behaviour:
- When I create a new task the field is visible and editable,
- and when I look at an existing issue with the old issue view the field is visible and editable.
- But in the new issue view I cannot see the field and thus not update it. This is blocking our work.
Is this a known bug or is there some additional configuration that needs to be done?
Are the issues in a Classic project or a Next Gen project?
For which issue types is the field not visible?
Can you provide screen images of issues where the field is visible and where it is not?
It is a classic project, It is for the task issue type.
Creating a new issue: Priority is visible
But once it is created I cannot see or change priority in the new issue view.

When you click "Configure" in New Issue View:
Can you please confirm what you are seeing?
I was able to reproduce the nuisance when I put "Priority" to the left handed column - then it got hidden.
Please see my illustration - when you would move the "Priority" to "Hide when empty" area it should show up, assuming you are dealing with the same problem as in the screenshot.
Let us know if it works!

Thank you! Yes, priority was listed as a hidden filed in this configure view. I moved it as per your illustration and now it is visible as expected.
There are so many places to configure things! Thanks for your help.
