Field level access

Hi - new to Jira and we're managing a team of clients who have access to our project. Some of the client users need full access, others limited. For limited access users, we'd like to restrict them to only be able to comment on issues. Is there a good way to accomplish this? Thanks!

Create a new Role called "Comment only"

In your Permission scheme Assign the "Browse issue" and "Comment on issue" (and optionally Edit own comments and delete own comments) to that role.

Assign the limited users to that role.
