Field configuration

Hi,

I have a field with drop down options. When i select an option from the drop down list a couple of fields should appear (text fields) and when i select any other option from the drop down list, another set of fields should appear. I do not want all the fields to appear by default in the view screen. I have tried bundled fields but it doesn't do the trick. Could you please help. Thank you

in order to put in place that, you should use behaviour provided by Script Runner app (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/6820/scriptrunner-for-jira?tab=overview&hosting=datacenter).

Have you tried Behaviors from Scriptrunner?

This will do what you are trying to achieve.
