Exporting issues to excel and not all issues showing up

I am trying to export a board's issues to excel. When I am on the board, I can see the number of issues in each column. When I pull up the issues tab, it is giving me a significantly lower number than the actual amount of issues for this board. When I export all issues, it still gives me a smaller number than what I know is there. How can I fix this?

Hi @Keri Phillips 

Is the filter on the Kanban board showing all the issue (if you run that JQL in a Current Search)?

Could it be that not all status are mapped to a column?  

Or maybe the board is configured for "Stories" Swimlanes?

Have you emptied the "Kanban board sub-filter" (on the General tab)?  (i.e. have none there)
