Editing of custom field should not affect other projects?

In Jira I want to edit custom field but it is shared with different projects and I want those changes only in one project. Those changes made in custom field should not affect other projects. How can it be done?

You need to create a different context in your custom field.

Context are the option to use the same field but with different options.
