Hi there,
we document our Jira project customizations in Confluence. There is also a page with all Jira customfields with additional information, so that it can easily be shared with other development teams, that use custom fields in their API's.
Is there a way using automations in Jira / Confluence, to update a confluence each time, a custom field gets created, updated or deleted?
Up to now, I couldn't find a hint in Jira / Confluence automation, so I am thinking about using some Postman action to pull and push data from one place to another. But it is just a thought yet.
Thanks in advance,
Alex
Hi @Alex Ziegltrum , I have not seen any means of triggering rules on custom field creation.
Hi @Jack Brickeymy research on this topic lead me to the insight, that I will go with manually maintaining a page with all customfields. With the initial creation of such a page though, I am thinking about using the GET fields endpoint to retrieve all fields and its information and convert that JSON to a table and put that on the page.
