What are the advantages/disadvantages to have Jira and Bitbucket on different server considering following.
There are no particular "advantages" either way, so I'd look at the disadvantages:
Single server: needs to be high spec (i.e. expensive) as the systems running together can chew up a lot of resource
Mulitple servers: Twice the hardware to look after
To add to Nic's excellent points, if one of the two applications goes rogue (e.g. using up all CPU cycles), the other one is affected as well, which wouldn't be happening if the applications were on two separate machines.
