When I create a ticket in my Jira project, I always assign it to a specific Dev Team. However once the ticket is created, this field is not sticky and I have to go back in and update this again.

Maybe a bug?

I haven't noticed it with any other fields.

Thanks!

HI @Michaela Lees

Welcome to our community.

You've created a custom Team field called Dev Team and an automation to update this field when tickets are created? "not stiky" means not updated as expected, right?

Hope you could provide more information here.

Thanks,

YY Bro

Hi there!

Yes, that's correct - I believe the Dev Team is a field set up by our Jira Admin team. And yes, 'sticky' meaning that the field does not populate once the ticket is created.

Thanks

Michaela

You could check the ticket history to see if the value is populated and then is cleared. if not such case, check the automation rule. if no automation rule, then create one.
