Database driven custom fields

Dear all,

we´re looking for a integration of some external data in JIRA, as example we would like to add a CI of our CMDB to a JIRA issue.

As this list my change various times it´s better to get the data directly out of the external DB (MySQL, Oracle), I know some according plugins like:

• JIRA Database Values Plugin

• nFeed - display data in custom fields

• Database Custom Field

We did start some tests with these plugins, but im interested in some feedback of the users here. Which one would you recommend?

We got some very good resolution with nfeed, database custom field is ok - not that much practise. But no knowledge with JIRA database values.

So I would recommend the nFeed - but depending on your personal preferences and solution.
