When attempting to connect our hosted Jira to Bitbucket cloud using the DVCS link as documented here;
We are encountering the following error:
Error!
The authentication with Bitbucket has failed. Please check your OAuth settings.
Troubleshooting thus far:
* I have validated the team is correct and attempted this with a single user. Permissions are correct and keys/secret have been checked for whitespace, manually typed multiple times.
* I have checked the time is synchronised correctly on our Jira server
* Our hosted Jira has full egress access and I've whitelisted Bitbucket IPs (https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucket/what-are-the-bitbucket-cloud-ip-addresses-i-should-use-to-configure-my-corporate-firewall-343343385.html) as ingress to validate whether or not there is some sort of callback.
Our logs don't appear to be providing any useful output - is there a specific logger/plugin that needs to be enabled as more verbose?
To clarify, this is self hosted Jira (v7.10.2) connecting to bitbucket cloud. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Appears I've encountered the same issue as posted here;
My resolution was the same, simply setting the OAuth consumer in bitbucket to private. Again as stated in the solution above, this isn't documented here;
Worked for me too. This is such a widespread problem, why is atlassian not updating their pages.
