Hi
I am working on an issue type with a number of custom fields - e.g. Business value. I would love to be able to show a symbol like for priorities, or using emojies or something else:
I have search in the forum, but it appears as I am using cloud that this is not possible? Can that really be true?
Hi @petj - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
I just tried it for the first time and it worked!
In the name field, right click and choose Emoji. This works for Issue Type names and Custom Field names.
Not sure what it will do filters and automation though haha.

Hi @John Funk John
Thanks for the welcome and the quick answer.
Were do you get the inserted emojis from? I tried using emojis from copied from the comment field and microsoft teams - but no luck.
Just for the sake of it, I tried from microsoft word - and it works... :s
Wonder what the criteria is - any idea?

Did you right click in the Name field?

Look at this post: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Is-there-a-way-to-configure-different-colors-for-values-in-a/qaq-p/1394489
I got the emoji from https://emojipedia.org
It worked perfectly to my surprise. It shows up on issue navigator as well.
