Create Project - Custom workflow & custom agile board

Hello,

I am attempting to make the process of setting up a project much easier. Currently there is a very long process... Why, because we have a custom workflow and a custom agile board set up we use for all our projects.

The workflow does some handy things when issues are transitioned between states such as assign current user or enforce the user to log time at particular transitions and the agile board has a number of custom columns with varying states that match the workflow.

Currently however we have to

1. create a basic project
2. assign our default workflow
3. copy an excisting agile board
4. edit the agile board filter

Is there a way to automate this? or better yet can we have this setup a default option when you select the project type?

How to create projects or sets of issues based on a template. You can automate whatever is currently supported by the JIRA Command Line Interface (CLI). If you are missing something, create an improvement request to get more of what you need included.

Is this possible with Jira OnDemand?

Yes. JCLI is client based and can talk to JIRA Cloud (OnDemand).

I'm afraid that is currently not possible to achieve. There is an improvement request related to this at:
