Create/Edit Issue: How can i reach the dialogbox 'Configure Fields'

We recently updated to JIRA 5.2.11. In this Version the dialog-box for create and edit issues is customizable by the user. (https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA052/JIRA+5.0+Beta+1+Release+Notes#JIRA5.0Beta1ReleaseNotes-customisabledialogbox). In some Projects some users have Problem, that the shown fields are limited.

Question 1: Why could this be?

The other point is, that the dialog 'Configure Fields' is not shown correctly. That means the browser shows only the top of 2 milimeters of the dialog on the browsers buttom. We use IE version 10.

Question 2: does any one knew how a user can change the settings to 'all fields' without this dialog?

Hi Roman, 

The configure fields dialog should only show the fields that are available in the screen for the issue.  It's really just a hide/view functionality it's not actually adding the fields.  You'd need to go in the admin functionality to change the screen's fields (like in JIRA 4)

For the issue with the dialog box, i'd recommend you use another web browser, as IE10 isn't supported by JIRA 5.2

As a result it's prone to bugs.

For the ''All Fields''  as i mentioned it's really just a view-hide per user, by default all new users should start with the ''All''  option active.
