I would like to migrate to JIRA Service Desk for handling customers feedback on plugins (now I am using JIRA Software as an touch point).
Could I use a link to JIRA Service Desk customer portal instead of JIRA Software project?
Yes you can link them directly to a JSD form (eg: https://myorg.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/create/2) but your user will need to register / login first.
Another popular approach is to use JIRA issue collector (works for both JSD and JIRA Software projects): https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AdminJIRACloud/Using+the+issue+collector
