Convert issue to sub-task is not visible for some issues

We are not seeing the 'Convert Issue to sub-task' option for some issues.

The option is visible for other issues of the same issue type and belonging to the same project.

dou you have different issue screens/ workflows for subtasks and task

I think they need the same if you want to convert them

Try to re-index project and try again. If this will not help, it may be helpful to look on other issue properties and compare to those with the same issue type in the same project, eg. status, linking, etc.
