Confusing UI: Workflow buttons when using Greenhopper simplified workflow

When a project has been switched to the greenhopper simplified workflow and you view the issue details, you see the workflow buttons for every state including the current one.

Our users are complaining that this is confusing, can these buttons be fixed, simplified or removed when using the Greenhopper simplified workflow?

See example screenshot below. Issue is in "In Progress" state, but buttons don't change regadless of state.

When flipping to a Greenhopper simplified workflow, all work is meant to be done inside of Greenhopper. The configuration allows you to freely move from any status to another without the typical limitations of a regular workflow.

You can change the amount of buttons that appear in that area with the instructions below.

If you want to remove the button all together you may have to whip up some javascript to remove that from the page.
