Completion time

I have multiple status and would like to know when it moved to Ready for Development and when it moved to Dev Complete.

Dev Due date is being populated but Dev complete will let me know if they have missed the date

 

The changelog gives too much data and extracting from that is a pain.

 

Can a Workflow be configured to update a field when status moves to Dev Complete or QA Complete.

Here are two other solutions (created by my SaaSJet team) that you can check if you want to know when issues moved from Ready for Development to Dev Complete.

Issue History - gives a full history of statuses changes (you can read more here)
Time in Status for Jira Cloud - shows the entrance date to each status. You can try the online demo version without installing it.

Hi @Mouly Swaminathan ,

As an alternative, you can try Status Time app developed by our team. It provides reports on how much time passed in each status and show status entry dates.

If you are looking for a free solution, you can try the limited version Status Time Free.

Hi @Mouly Swaminathan -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

An automation rule would work for this, such as:

  • Trigger: transition to Dev Complete
  • Action: edit to update the field you want

You could also add notification by comment, email, Slack, etc. for when a target date is missed.
