Client access to view projects, releases and sprints

Dean van Rooyen April 19, 2017

Hello,

We run multiple projects where multiple clients give input and feedback. They also request changes where a EPIC or Story is logged by my team.

We have a JIRA instance and they have recently moved onto their own instance. Is there a way that i can give the clients restricted access to view projects, releases and sprints within our JIRA?

Basically, creating a view for them to see which issues they have logged and what the status of the issue is as well as knowing which issue is allocated to which sprint (almost like a roadmap).

Can this be done without creating them as a user on our JIRA?

Thank you.

The only option I know would be to make JIRA avaliable to anonymous users. You could create a dashboard in which these users can view filters and gadgets.

However, anonymous users cannot ever see Scrum Boards or Kanban Boards.

Thanks for the reply,Steven.

I was also thinking of creating a board which i would make visible to specific anonymous users. Perhaps create a group for these users and then apply specific filers on the board for them to have a view.
