Hi,
I have an existing Issue created in December 2024 with 4 child Issues. When I open the parent issue, the child issues are not displayed and a toast appears withe the error message "We couldn't get your child issues".
But I can open the child issues (via URL and Issue number).
What can cause such a problem?
Best regards
Frank
Changing to Standard Plan (to get support) and back to Free Plan (without opening a support ticket) solved the problem ... crazy!
Hi @Frank Möller and welcome to the Community!
Looks as if something is broken there. I would first of all do what the message says: refresh, wait some time to see its a temporary glitch that recovers itself, clear your browser cookies.
If you are indeed on a free plan - as you tagged your question - you are not entitled to support. But if this really remains, it looks like an error somewhere in your site. If it doesn't resolve itself, we can try to loop in someone from Atlassian to have a look.
Hope this helps!

many thanks for the quick reply!
The problem still persist. I tried with other browsers (Safari & Chrome) as well. Also when I create a new issue with child issues the same error message comes up "Error: We couldn't get your child issues".
Any ideas what I can do to solve the problem?

Even if I create a new project the error persists.
I really have an easy setup and only one plugin installed (worklogs).
Ok - I do not pay - that's right (since I use JIRA as a single developer to organise my 'private' projects). But it is very disappointing and frustrating that no solution can be found for this problem. I would understand if I would be hosting the software myself (like years ago) - but it's a cloud software in the browser!
Btw. I also use JIRA in many customer projects for years and I really like(d), recommend(ed) and prefer(red) it.
I guess it's time to have a closer look at other tools ...
