Changing Linked Status names...

I would like to change the Linked Status names in my workflow but cannot find the facility to do so. I would like to create custom Linked Statuses...can anyone show me how to?

You can create new status under Admin -> Issues -> Statuses : https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Defining+Status+Field+Values

Once the statuses are in place, you could copy an active workflow and use edit to change the Step Name and Linked Status, or simply create a new workflow.

OK then i want to active the inactive flow ?? how do i replace the inactive ( i edit) instead of the old active one

Under Admin -> Issues -> Statuses, you can edit your existing status and change the name.
