We have about 2000 issues in the Jira database and want to display the first issue.  I could not display the first issue.  I can search and display any one of the latest 1000 issues.  It seems like Jira set the limit for 1000 issues.  How can I fix that.

It's not a case of "fixing" it, the limit is there to prevent you overloading the system.

You can increase it, at risk of crippling your system if people run large searches.

You might be better off running a better query.  What is your definition of "first"?
